Cotta was born in Constanta, Romania and lives near Frankfurt  am 

Main, Germany. He has made infrequent forays into the public eye to promote his works, including solo exhibitions in Paris in 1976 and Neu Isenburg in 2018.

His creative activities helped him to overcome his loneliness in the short

run but in the long run his works have developed a life of their own.A life away from conventional practice of beauty, art conventions or God 

worshipping.

Most recently, in August 2021, Cotta showed his works in the solo exhibition "Verblendungen-History makes no Gifts"in the Frankfurt -based gallery Tiberius:The pictures should help us not to forget what no one can understand up to today.

Cotta wurde in Constanta, Rumänien geboren und lebt in Frankfurt am
